These Weird and Unusual Town Names in America Are Actually Real


Just like a last name can describe a person, the names of some American towns say so much about them. For every Main Street in a town called Springfield, there is an equal and opposite version of this somewhere in the USA, which is certainly likely to give you a chuckle.

The Northwest

If you’re in Oregon, things certainly won’t be boring, that is unless you’re in Boring, Oregon. And here you always thought Oregon would be so much fun.
